12/28 – Shred Report

So … it’s been a while since the last update … we extend apologies most sincere, but .. you know .. the Holidays can be busy. We’re sure you understand.

Anyways … there hasn’t been a whole lot of new snow up at The Trail as of late. A few inches here and there, of course, but no significant dumpings over the last week or so.

With that said, the shredding has been guurrrrrrreat! Sunny days above the valley inversion … high speed groomer laps, some sketchy still-early season tree runs, and of course … park park park.

The FrontCountry Park is looking good, and with new snow sort of scarce, it’s a logical place to have a lot of fun. The ever-changing box and rail lines have been phenomenal … kudos to Andy for keeping it fresh.

Last I saw (Sunday) the setup was: upper box garden with butter boxes, 20-foot flat to 20-foot “C” box (J-Box?), 20-foot rainbow box and 20-foot inverse rainbow box; there’s an interesting spine/quarter pipe feature in the middle of the park with the tank bonk and an interesting up-down triple-culvert configuration that you have to see (check the edit!) to understand. In the lower part of the park there’s a 40-foot flat/down double-barrel rail and some crazy new huge spine feature that Andy just built.

Some of us will be at their respective desk jobs this week, but others will be at the Trail, shredding it up and keeping you posted on what’s fun … Ski ya out there, bro.
