The competition series was a huge success thanks to all the sponsors, LT, and of course all the stoked riders and family that supports us snow-nuts!
As if the Rail Series was enough for us this season, no way! The weekend of the 29th found Lost Trail deep in Long Boxes directly in front of the lodge, with a 40 foot trout pond to skim across in the background……..
SKIESTA SPLASHDOWN & SUMMER SUCKS RAIL JAM
IT was a raging success, with riders throwing down 65′ bluntslides and nosepress nosegrabs… soo sick!!! In the end RJ Higgins and Alex walked away with some speakers from Warrior Auto Works and Memphis Audio, and some Kokanee outerwear.
The pond was an entirely different affair all together, starting high up the mountain, ending up with almost all the competitors wet, and all the crazed spectators cracking up with laughter. A ten year old walked away with some prizes, as well as Cody. As the action tried to wind down, Jake “Lunatic” Lind skimmed the pond “brown-eye” which to you non-lingo foxers, means backwards on skis, and also went home with speaker gear and fun stuff.
The Dj and Bands raged, the fire burned the night away, and after 3 days, i was finally coherent enought to post this without getting violently, violently, urgently, sick….Ha Ha some things never change. Thank you everyone involved with this amazing season at Lost Trail Powder Mountain, and I hope to see you same place, same time, next year, cause if you don’t now, you’ll be one year older when you do.
