Missoula’s freestyle ski and snowboard scene got a shot in the arm last weekend when more than 700 people turned out at Caras Park to watch the 1st Annual Ski and Snowboard Extravaganza.
Organized by Totally Tobeys Productions with a rail setup engineered by LTpark.com, Missoula’s first pre-season/urban rail jam brought some of the region’s most notable shreds together to blow it up like never before.
Sure, it rained like a freaking monsoon during the snowboard finals, but the torrential downpour only served to hype the crowd more and more as some of the dirtiest tricks of the evening got banged out to the beats of some of Missoula best DJ’s.
After the jam, hundreds raged the dancefloor in one of the best parties ever to hit the banks of the Clark Fork River … hard to call the evening anything other than a massive success. We can’t wait ’til next year.
