HAMILTON, MT – A cadre of snow sliders converged on the Pharoahplaex Theater last month to take part in the Bitterroot Valley’s first organized rail jam (sans ski hill, that is).

The event, hosted by the LTPark crew, was incorporated into the annual Lost Trail Ski Patrol movie premier fundraiser. Invited shredders hucked their steez onto a triple feature setup that included a STEEEEP 20-foot street style down rail and 15- and 20-foot flat boxes.

While we can’t say that the event was injury-free, we will say that the Ski Patrol got a chance to knock the rust off of their training after a long (too long!) off-season.

The park crew hopes to make the event an annual affair with bigger and better features and an open registration-style competition.

Thanks to all the sponsors and all the riders who worked to make this event a success.
